This morning, March 26, CAB Vietnam collaborated with the Danang Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Da Nang Department of Education and Training to host the kickoff workshop for the project “Promoting Plastic Reduction and Participatory Waste Management.”
In her speech at the workshop, Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuan, Director of the Department of Education and Training, stated: “The Department of Education and Training believes that with the active involvement of schools and close coordination among relevant agencies, the project will be implemented effectively, gradually scaling the model to 100% of preschools across the city in the coming period.”
Mr. Nguyen Viet Thuan, Deputy Head of the Environmental Protection Agency, said: “Reducing single-use plastic is reducing waste at the source, which plays a vital role in sustainable waste reduction. Therefore, I am deeply interested in this project!”
