A two-month forum featuring 28 students from first-years to recent graduates left a remarkable impression on the judges and organizers!
Coming from 21 majors, 20 universities in 5 different provinces and cities, the 28 students completed an 4-day training course (June 18–21) and after that, they planned and organized activities to produce communication products centered around the theme “Students and Decent Work.”
On the afternoon of August 15, their communication products made a strong impression on over 100 students at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, as well as 10 representatives from experts, NGOs, private enterprises, and universities in the field of sustainable development.
How did these 28 young individuals manage to captivate their peers at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, and particularly the panel of judges, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Huong Tra, Dr. Luong Dong Son, and M.A. Tran Trong Hai?
Despite geographic distances and different academic backgrounds, team members willingly sat down together to tackle an impressive workload: creating detailed plans with clear task assignments, conducting surveys and research, connecting with experts, designing products, publishing content, driving engagement, and much more… Truly commendable!
Below, CAB would like to share with our readers the 4 communication products created by the 4 student teams participating in the forum:
-
“Flowers” with Providing information for middle-aged market vendors facing challenges in digital transformation;
-
“Tien Phong” with Hybrid Working in Vietnam;
-
“Nhan Van” with Enhancing labor rights for university students in Ho Chi Minh City;
-
“Eco Flow” with “Greenifying Skills”: Preparing a breakthrough CV 4.0!
A huge thank you to these young minds for investing their knowledge, skills, and time; for their creativity reflected across the themes, target audiences, and communication formats; and especially for their attention to gender considerations.
We hope that beside the knowledge and skills gained, the valuable feedback from the judges will serve as practical lessons for all of youth in their studies and future career paths.
CAB Vietnam would like to express our sincere gratitude to Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Vietnam for partnering with us to accompany the students for the second year in this exciting theme. Building on each year’s experience, we look forward to an even more inspiring Youth and Decent Work Forum in 2026!
