This morning in Da Nang, the atmosphere at the “Plastic Waste Reduction” workshop was hotter than summer itself! 
And not because of the weather—but because 23 students, from tiny 1st graders to wise 11th graders, joined an exciting journey: reducing plastic waste and protecting our planet!

In just a few short hours, the young participants:
Uncovered the truth about single-use plastics—from plastic cups and foam containers to the sneaky ones like plastic-coated paper cups and bowls! Learned how single-use plastics harm both the environment and… themselves Pledged to bring reusable bottles and containers when buying food and drinks Learned how to sort waste properly—at home and at school Created cool plastic-reduction plans and shared real actions they’ll start from TODAY!
When asked: “How can we avoid using plastic when buying takeaway food and drinks?”The answers were just as diverse as a restaurant menu:
“I bring my own water bottle!”
“I bring my own food container!”
“I use cloth bags when going to the market!”
One student even joked: “I’ll just stop eating and drinking!” 
— then added, “Not eating chips or junk food is the best way to cut down waste!”
These simple yet powerful ideas are like green seeds full of hope. With a little care and encouragement, these students are sure to become green warriors, spreading their actions to families and communities.
The workshop may have ended, but the plastic reduction journey has only just begun!We believe: No one is too small to make a difference.
